After conducting market research, Richard Emms launched his company in November 2021. With minimal marketing, the company quickly expanded into the banking, high end residential construction and provides various clients with quantity surveying and project control with monitoring advisory services.

Before drafting any schedule, we always remind ourselves of who the 'audience' is, to ensure they find the information they are looking for. It is essential that we begin drafting our schedules with this understanding, and we take pride in dedicating time to understanding the audience, their needs, and their requirements.
We are fully licensed in both Powerproject (formerly known as Asta) and Microsoft Project software products, which are capable of displaying schedules in any format you require. As a standard practice, all our schedules are linked with the critical path displayed.
Once we have completed the schedule, we are often asked to provide monitoring and reporting services. This typically involves a monthly review of the schedule and a forecast of where we believe the project is headed. We use two methods to determine this, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. A jagged progress line is useful for identifying tasks that are behind schedule. Although less clear, the other method compares the original (baseline) schedule with the forecast. In this method, the baseline is presented along side the live forecast so the reader can clearly see a comparison.
Additionally, we review contractors' tender schedules for logic and alignment with the client's requirements. If needed, we are also available to attend tender interviews and provide our recommendations.
With baseline monitoring, we can immediately inform you of the implications that delays are having on the overall project. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to suggest mitigation strategies to reduce or even reverse a delay.
One of the major advantages of baseline monitoring is that an "as-built" schedule is being developed in the background. At the end of your project, we will be able to provide you with an "as-built" schedule to assist in planning future projects.
